Ex Offenders Policy

Where criminal record information is disclosed or identified through the appropriate checking process, London Travel Solution may take into consideration:
- The nature and seriousness of the offence.
- The relevance of the offence to the role.
- The time that has elapsed since the offence.
- The age of the individual at the time of the offence.
- Any evidence of rehabilitation.
- Any pattern of offending.
- Any legal, regulatory, or licensing requirements applicable to the role.
4. Compliance
London Travel Solution will comply with all applicable legislation relating to criminal record information, including:
- The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (as amended).
- The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended), where applicable.
- The Data Protection Act 2018.
- UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
- Relevant Transport for London licensing requirements.
5. Confidentiality
Any criminal record information obtained by London Travel Solution will be treated confidentially and processed only by authorised personnel with a legitimate business need to know. Such information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
6. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated where necessary to reflect changes in legislation, regulatory requirements, or Company procedures.
